It’s always been one of my favorite months, but it’s so bittersweet. It’s over almost as soon as it starts and when it disappears, it takes the summer with it.
I start my senior year of college tomorrow.
…are starting to look verrryyyy similar to Saturdays in the school year.
I had the pleasure of seeing one of my favorite bands, Something Corporate, live last week. It was an event I’d been looking forward to since I bought my tickets in May and it was one of the best times I’ve had this summer.
Can I just say it was incredible? My friend and I got to the venue two hours before doors opened to find that a line had already started to form. The line extended to the end of the street within the next half hour. God knows how long it was by the time doors actually opened. Once we got inside, we still had an hour and a half to kill before the band took the stage. The wait seemed like forever – until the show finally started and all was forgiven. I didn’t think I could love SoCo any more than I already did but when they dove right into I Woke Up In A Car, I became ten times more enamored. They were absolutely amazing and at the end of the night, I was pretty convinced I could’ve died happy.
